Upcoming and new day trips with openings
Tuesday, September 26 – Thursday, September 28 We start with a pontoon ride through the Horicon Marsh, visit the Horicon Marsh Education Center. Wednesday we tour the newly renovated International Crane Foundation. We finish the tour with a Fall Colors train ride in North Freedom and picking apples at a local orchard. $435
Tuesday, October 10 – Wednesday, October 11- We start this trip touring the Historic Auto Attractions in Roscoe, IL. See rooms and rooms of movie and TV and historical and sports related memorabilia. The next day, after a big buffet lunch we enjoy the timeless songs of Johnny Cash at the White Pines Theater. $290
Thursday, November 9 – Friday, November 10 Today we go to a program at Pike Lake State Park, then lunch before spending the afternoon at the Auto Museum in Hartford. The evening is ours to swim. Friday we go to the Germantown PAC for the live theater production of “Tall Tales” – hear about history in a fun and adventurous way! $290
Thursday, November 30 – Monday, December 4 –Festival of Lights trip to Omaha! We will see the region’s largest Christmas tree, tour the holiday decorated Historic Union Station, listen to Holiday music at several places, visit a German Kindle market, drive through an Iluminated ` mile long Rockin’ light show and more! $780
Thursday, Dec 7 – Saturday, December 9- We start with a Broadway-style holiday-themed extravaganza and a live production of “A Christmas Carol” on Friday night with a horse drawn sleigh ride and bon fire during the day and hopefully a Christmas market to attend. $435.
Tuesday, December 12 - It is back to the Sunset Playhouse for “A Carpenter’s Christmas” after we have lunch at a local restaurant. $100
Thursday, December 14 – We have lunch in Hartford before going to the Schauer Art Center for “A Christmas Carol A new twist on an Old Classic.” $125
